Peer Review Process

The submitted manuscript is first reviewed by an editor whether it is suitable for CHEMICA focus and scope or has a major methodological flaw and similarity score by using iThenticate. The procedure are:

   1. Editor receives a manuscript
   2. Reviewers read and provide comments to the editor
   3. The decision is made by the reviewer: accept, minor revisions, major revisions, or reject
   4. Feedback sent to an author
   5. Revisions
   6. Final decision
   7. Article is published

The manuscript will send to at least two anonymous reviewers (Single Blind Review). Reviewers' comments are then sent to the corresponding author for necessary actions and responses. The suggested decision will be evaluated in an editorial board meeting. Afterward, the editor will send the final decision to the corresponding author.
