Indonesia is a country with a large plant commodity. One of the commodities of the plantation is nail. (Artocarpus Heterophyllus). Where wood can be used as furniture. The powdered wood as a waste from the furniture industry is one of the biomass that can be used as a raw material for syngas by the method of gasification. Gasification process using a gasifier. In this study used a free variable of the mass of wood powder. While the bound variables that will be obtained are the number of syngas, the time it takes to produce a syngasa and the percentage of its components. The research shows that the more mass of powdered wood, the more syngases are produced and the longer the time is required. Based on the analysis of the syngas, the result was 10.362% CO and 0.862% CH4. So wood powder is one of the biomass that can be used as a gasification raw material in meeting energy needs especially gas fuel.
